He liked 100 gecs last year a lot. He's not a fan of Charli this year (I apparently played her too much in the car). I don't think he's been exploring music too much on his own yet though

MCR is such a wild blind spot for me. No idea how anyone cares about that band. That said, it was an insane middle ground between me being intensely into Limp and Korn in high school, then going to college in ‘04 and thinking that cool people only listened to Fiona Apple, then back into post college when I could accept that nu metal and emo were ok again. Just completely missed their hype. Good for everyone who feels ok spending so much money on that band though.

They must have picked up a ton of fans during their "break up" because they were never close to being this popular before. I consider myself a fan and saw them during the aughts but I'm not willing to pay what they're charging for this tour. It seems like the secondary market is already flooded with tickets so we'll see how that plays out I guess.
