Is that the opener for the Denver show? Nah, Grandmaster Flash is only opening for the show in MSG. The tour announcement didn't say who was opening the Denver show, but Angel Olsen is opening the four shows before that so it might be her. |

For anyone who has been to a House of Vans show, do they scan your tickets AND check your name off a list?

they ask for your name and then look it up on their tablet to check you in.
in brooklyn they definitely scanned the ticket, but in chicago i feel like they didn't tho i could be remembering wrong.

since rise against was a lottery system they sent out QR codes (one per pair) to scan while you waited in line

we got qr codes for preoccupations too, i just dont think they scanned them.
i can't remember if they scanned rango's for future islands.
bottomline is they check if you rsvp'd though. you could probably have someone else's ticket and be fine, but you at least need a ticket or name on the list to give.

Figured Angel Olsen was out since she's already listed all those dates on her website - no upcoming Denver date to prevent her from announcing the Pepsi Center show as well. |

Since we cancelled P4K, I'm able to do a few more shows. But nothing this month  7/25 - Echo & the Bunnymen and Violent Femmes 8/8 - Fleet Foxes 8/19 - Maha Festival (Built to Spill, Priests, Torres, New Pornos, Downtown Boys) 9/18 - Sheer Mag 9/20 - RIDE (price checked travel, and it's pretty friggin cheap from KC to Denver, so I'm highly contemplating this) 9/24 - Broken Social Scene 10/5 - Angel Olsen 10/12 - Big Thief 10/27 - Arcade Fire (still a big maybe on this one, unless Wolf Parade is opening, which I'm doubting) 12/1 - Grizzly Bear (lady's thinkin about it as a birthday present to me) |
