Same for me. I think I saw them 7 times on the MCIS tour. One of those shows, at the Mark of the Quad Cities, was one of my top 5 all time favorite shows. I saw them at Summerfest in Milwaukee on the Adore tour, and absolutely hated that show.

The MCIS show I saw I don't remember how long it was, but it did have the 3 encores with the super long Silverfuck at the end (which I thought was boring). It was a good show overall, I got a lot of what I wanted to hear.

I don't remember them ever being on the Horde tour - maybe it was just for a few shows? I had free tix to it one year - I think it was the year with Blues Traveler, Barenaked Ladies, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, etc - but I didn't go.

Only time I ever saw them was also at the United Center sans D'Arcy, ironically.
I thought it was so good at the time but I was also 14 so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

kinda bummed there's no pumpkins date for stl, considering idaho, kansas city and omaha are on there.
i saw some people back a few pages say the next day after the uc show could be another chi date. makes more sense than adding an stl one on their way to kc.
Indy on Friday might be my best option.

I'm guessing there will be a second leg announced at some point.

a second leg? it goes all the way across the country and back. 36 dates for a band that is a huge question mark.
maybe if it's successful they'll tour in the future but i dont see what a second us leg could even be. i'd guess after this they head to europe.

There are plenty of secondary markets they could hit on a second leg. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to Europe first, but let's not forget this is a cash grab.
Just taking a quick look, they don't have shows in St Louis, DC, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Vancouver, etc.

Since we’re discussing reunions of important Chicago bands, has it been discussed that The Felix Culpa is playing a show at the Beat Kitchen on April 6th?
There’s a show I’d much rather see than 3/4 of the Pumpkins at a basketball arena. Someone please go for me?

The Felix Culpa is always at the top of my list of “Chicago bands that should’ve been huge but never were.” I’ll never understand it.

If anyone was wondering if Inspector Owl still exists they released a song in 2017 I guess
this song still goes.
This thread is now only for Illinois era emo from 2006-2009

In the hilarious Billy texts he is specific in that they needed to deliver their A level Broadway show for this run or else they wouldn't make it out of america. So I'm assuming that they're aiming to go the GNR route and tour as long as people are buying tickets

They were extremely precocious in a way that only midwest emo bands in that era could be With that said I'm pretty sure I saw them headline the Metro a couple times and they were absolutely huge in the scene

Not arguing that at all, but again like facts said in the other thread, Billy has been dragging the Pumpkins name around for the past 10 years or so, and just adding James back in really isn't going to make that much of a differenceI think it's going to make a huge difference because it's being marketed well. I'm a casual fan of the band and I'm hearing about this reunion in major media outlets in a way that I never did when Billy was just dragging the name around recently. Tbh I think this will sell out pretty easily.

It's funny to me all the big SP fans I know in real life are scoffing at this reunion, while casual fans are into it.

I would consider myself a pretty big SP fan, and while I'm disappointed that D'arcy won't be involved, I am very excited for this tour.

I think that tour will do well enough in cities like Chicago but doing arenas in every city is pretty ambitious, specially without a big opener

Do any of the Ten Club folks remember the price breakdown for the Pearl Jam shows ? I got a spot in the verified presale and I’m trying to decide how much I want to spend.
