That Franz show ruled last year and so did Spoon at Metro in 2017 Even more reason to buy a ticket to see Beck

A country away, but TSPO never got their fair due, you are absolutely right. Holy shit they've played Bonnaroo. The true encapsulation of how far that festival has fallen.

Cheap seat is on my radar, but I’m going to wait to see what the Lolla preshows are for the 31st. I'm considering a "cheapie" GA as well, but I think that section will sell out during the general on sale Friday. In the past the Weds afters haven't been anything special right? I think they haven't started the special Metro shows until Thursday. I got my "cheap" ticket. My first show ever at Northerly Island, other than going to the aquarium. So, it's really not a lawn, it is cement? Also, I'll be taking the Metra. Is it the Museum stop on the Metra Electric?

the 146 cta bus goes from state street downtown to the venue's entrance, cosmo, so I'd recommend getting to northerly island from your downtown hotel that way (you can even walk to the museum campus from downtown, if you have enough time).

These dates were announced yesterday with a Newport Folk sized hole in them as well as a Chicago street fest of some kind sized hole. (I might be the only one here who listens to this band)

They would be too big for most Chicago street fests, but it's possible they could fit within Taste of Randolph's budget. The dates would only allow them to play Friday though. I suppose Taste of Chicago is an option as well.

I have literally no gauge of their popularity. People in central Illinois love them. I figured they weren’t a pitchfork band though.

$35-65 for Isbell/FJM in Chicago. Pit is in the front as it usually would be, unlike that Beck map

Very difficult to gauge interest in this tour. Both have huge audiences, but a tiny, weird sliver of overlap (me).

I feel like a lot of these shows are going to end up on the $20 sale I hope so, but I am not confident. I feel like Live Nation finally realized people hate driving to Tinley, and decided to book at lot more at Northerly Island this summer. With its smaller capacity, there will be less of a need to move tickets at a discount. Coheed/Mastodon and 3EB/JEW seem likely, and maybe Isbell/FJM as well. I don't expect them to include the likes of FloMo, VW, or the Beck triple bill.
