I hate that I have to have tickets to get a beer. you also can't take drinks out of the basement which i understand kinda but also why even offer booze if you're gonna bottleneck all us drunks |

Wait so was Basinski actually there ? He walked onstage at the end in a tuxedo and waved. He didn’t play. He was not onstage during the performance. It was basically a fairly sloppy orchestra playing adaptions of the first two parts of Disintegration Loops. Considering they literally adversitied it as WILLIAM BASINSKI with The Chicago Philharmonic and used photos of him promoting it I’m annoyed. |

Yep. They weren’t even playing along to a recording of it or anything. It should have been billed as The Chicago Phharmonic performing selections from Disintegration Loops

Probably should have bought a Beck ticket in advance. That GA section sold out and even the overpriced seats sold very well, which is not surprising given that bill.
