I’d like to see CHVRCHES and Omar Apollo. Too bad they aren’t opening up for a better act.

Guess Chvrches aren't taking too long of a break. They're opening for Halsey at Tinley June 27th. I'm sure that's a tour They have a song on goodson's favorite game, Death Stranding.

Ugh there's very few acts I love more than CHVRCHES but I can't drag myself to a Halsey show to see them open. Sounds like a nightmare.

Are CHVRCHES putting out new music this year, or are they just on a never-ending tour ?

Are CHVRCHES putting out new music this year, or are they just on a never-ending tour ? The only posts I saw from Lauren just said that they were done with the tour, didn't say anything about heading to the studio. So I doubt it.

Are CHVRCHES putting out new music this year, or are they just on a never-ending tour ? They'll have been off for 6 months by the time this tour starts. I feel like that's a pretty normal amount of time of for working musicians without new music.

no one wants to hear new music from an opener on an arena tour anyway (if they want to hear them at all)

Is it just a Philadelphia problem, or does Jukely suddenly have waaaaaaaay fewer shows for everybody this month?

Is it just a Philadelphia problem, or does Jukely suddenly have waaaaaaaay fewer shows for everybody this month? I mean, it is January... They've had a couple of decent options popping up, considering how few options there are right now. There were some good ones in December too, so I'm not worried yet. They still don't have Bottle shows back yet though.

They lost a ton of venue partnerships in Denver and now offer only smallish shows.

I thought I got their generic "first email of the month" thing, but that was it. I'm assuming they just haven't had any shows to give tickets to this month so far.
And I've never gotten a second offer after releasing my first offer. I know I'm on the bottom of their preference list, that's why I'm most likely not renewing.

I got an offer for some magician at the Athenaeum in February that I forgot to claim or reject.
EDIT: Dude's name was Julius Dein, looked him up on instagram and it was cringeworthy enough that I didn't want to go even though I'm a fan of magic.

This post reeks of "my friend took my phone and sent that text". You can be excited for the magician, you just have to own it.

Maybe some of the venues/promoters here didn't renew their contracts for 2020? That seems to happen with Metro every other month. They will have no shows on the app and then they begin to reappear.

Re: Do312 More
I also haven't gotten anything, and I also released my crappy offer in December and didn't receive another. There's less shows to offer this time of year, so I'm fully expecting my January offer to be a cover band at HoB or something.
I renewed though. I got plenty of value in 2019, it was an easy decision.

Yeah splitting the $50 with a friend was a no brainer for two subscriptions.

Space is where a lot of white suburban people who go to like one concert a year go and they drink way too much and can’t control themselves. I’ve seen white women twerking onstage during blues acts, guy in an army uniform throw up all over the hallway the bathrooms are in, all kinds of weird shit. They have these holiday sales for the shows that are selling terribly and those are always full of that kind of crowd.
