I always confuse house of love with house of lords, who opened a cheap trick nye show at the riviera, and with book of love who opened a depeche mode show at poplar creek.

Interesting that public sales for those Train shows are this month. Normally all Ravinia tickets go on sale at the same time, in the spring.

Yeah you feel like Ravinia is probably really scrambling this year with the piping hot dad rock market already at full tilt. You'd think that it couldn't get worse than losing Big Mac to the Doobies tour, but some of these other names they are missing on is savage.

When I was in college, there was this girl in my building who would repeatedly get drunk and scream at everyone at the front desk about how her cousin was the guitarist in Train.
Every time I see that band's name, I have flashbacks to hauling ass through the lobby so I wouldn't have to hear it again...

i saw train open for hall & oates a few years ago and not being a train fan i tried to get there late but my wife wanted to see them, so i read a book through their show.
then they decided to bring out drunk toby keith to sing tom petty's free fallin and woo boy that was not pretty. toby had to sit down on the drum riser at one point and he forgot the words even though he had a teleprompter.
