Based on a new Russian tour date I’m almost certain that The 1975 is totally out.

This is fine with me. They put on a fun show, but I don't want Lolla to spend a headline spot on them.

Like I mentioned I wouldn’t in the other thread I wouldn’t consider him a lock since he’s playing a festival 55 miles outside of Chicago in July.

Praying there’s a good artist up against Foo Fighters if we do in fact get them, though I’m starting to doubt it since it appears they’re mostly playing buttrock fests.

I mean, if I get in free again, I could live with that
Edit: Except it damn well better not be Strokes vs. Solange, that would knock out the 2 headliners I cared about most

Hozier seems to be avoiding Chicago on his upcoming summer tour so you can pencil him in as a sub

hellacopters, halestorm, BMTH, wolfmother, and chevelle playing any lollapalooza in 2019 is a wild hard left turn into the land of rockin butts

Lolla has been slowly trying to integrate some buttrock into the lineup and some of these names are totally on brand. They've specifically been trying to grease the skids for Halestorm for the last few years. Perhaps other people didn't notice The Pretty Reckless (!?!) and Dorothy (!?) on recent lineups, but the buttrock dog whistle did not go unnoticed.
Bmth is basically Hot Topic pop at this point so they make sense.
Wolfmother played the Soundgarden year, didn't they?

I can't figure out if I love or hate that the idea that Lolla Stockholm gets Chevelle before Lolla Chicago.

If C3 books a day where I could see Halestorm/BMTH/Slash back to back I'd definitely pay full price for a ticket on principle.
It seems a bit fanciful, but then again this is the same company that booked Disturbed in a prominent spot at ACL in the year 2018. Buttrock is the new EDM and I'm here for it

He's not playing Lolla though, if anything Riot Fest booked him.

Lolla should rebrand Perry's as a buttrock stage. They could plaster Monster Energy advertisements everywhere along with American flags and signs that say "We Support Our Troops".

Those Band of Horses dates are suspicious as well. They seem more like a Taste of Chicago or Pritzker Pavilion act to me at this point.
