I'm not really planning on attending but I'm going go out on a limb and say that Lolla is not going to book all 3 of Coachella's headliners plus multiple additional acts that would headline the south stage.

I can still see Tame Impala being North stage headliner since they were supposed to be second on their day at Coachella. If Lolla already had their headliners locked up by the time Kanye pulled out of Coachella (which I think they would have), then Tame Impala would still be North stage. According to an interview with Tame's Manager they said that they were not originally on the Coachella lineup. They said that they were slated to be a headliner in 2020 but were moved up to 2019 with how all the dominos fell. I can see if I can find the link to the interview so I have some source for this and am not misremembering. We just shout opinions around here, no need to cite your sources new fella

www.pollstar.com/article/qs-with-paradigms-kevin-french-tame-impalas-agent-speaks-on-getting-a-top-spot-at-coachella-137078Link to interview with Kevin French, Tame Impala's agent. First question: "Pollstar: Obviously there is tons of stuff you can't share behind the curtain, but what can you say about the process that led to the Coachella? Kevin French: Paul Tollett (Coachella co-founder and Goldenvoice president) has been a huge supporter of Tame Impala for a while now. Tame last played Coachella in 2015, direct to AC/DC on main stage – this was kicking off the tour cycle for Currents. Over the summer, I began discussing Coachella with Paul, and entertaining the idea to play 2019. He really believes in Tame, and we both agreed with new music on the horizon, they were ready to headline. At the time, it was too soon to commit, so our sights were set on 2020. But towards the end of 2018, pieces started coming together and the timing felt right. "

Again 2 out of those 3 headliners were not originally lined up for Coachella. I’m sure Lolla had the majority if not all of their headliners booked before Coachella announced its lineup.

Someone on the lolla subreddit has a solid confirmation that Tame is booked and they sent the info they had to a mod who confirmed it. Ariana we know from the article. In the AMA last year the head talent booker said they tried to book Gambino but he opted for his UC show last year which leads me to believe they didn’t book him for this year. I could also see Lolla having booked tame for 2020 like Coachella apparently did

I really don’t feel like Bon Iver is playing this. That's my thinking too. He's talked shit on Lolla in the past, literally saying "Fuck Lollapalooza" when discussing his motivations for starting Eaux Claires. It's weird to imagine him coming back and headlining just a few years after that. I also believe Death Cab probably plays, but is a sub-headliner in 2019 unless they really blow the budget elsewhere. They could easily play prior to a number of acts being tossed around (rather fond of a Sia pairing actually). I think the same is true of Cardi, but for different reasons. She's popular enough to headline, but probably can't carry an hour plus set yet, so she'll get a sub-headliner spot if she plays and absolutely pack it out. Lolla never got Swedish House Mafia during their first run, and if they're willing to come stateside, I bet that's their first choice for an EDM headliner, as opposed to retreading an act like DJ Snake, or Major Lazer. Skrillex is certainly in play too, but is already slated to play Snake Pit in Indy, and seems more likely to wind up on one of the Chicago EDM fests.

"I wanted Gambino but his tour is not starting till Sept - we were a little too soon."

That would be a fantastic lineup, but it is way too deep. The first 7 or 8 lines in particular are full of artists who would probably be on the first 3 or 4 lines of the real poster.

I’m not sure how big SHM are anymore. My guess is they don’t play Lolla.

I don't find this lineup too realistic because I know too many of the names up top. Lolla is and will always be geared towards 17 year olds and this seems to look like a mixtape of "bands who are playing other fests who are not too offensive".

I’m not sure how big SHM are anymore. My guess is they don’t play Lolla. They do have a relationship with the brand. In addition to SHM playing Lolla Berlin, Steve Angello played Chicagopalooza, Axwell-Ingrosso played Paris, and Axwell played the South American Lollas.
