Probably not going to crap in anyone's oatmeal, but Willaris.K has been replaced by Cassian on Thursday's Perrys Lineup.

Interesting to me that sponsorships inside the park seem to be up (didn't the mainstage go unsponsored the past few years after Samsung bailed?) but sponsored events like aftershows/parties are almost nowhere to be seen this year. I know we lost the Pandora pre-party last year, and the Conflict of Interest one a year or two prior, but there's no word about Floodfest this year either.

Interesting that this wasn't touted in the map, maybe there has been a change of plans so don't be surprised if this comes to nothing, but there are plans to expand the bag check lines at both the North and Main entrance by staggering/overlapping lines (which looks good on paper even though describing it in text is a challenge...essentially there will be two banks of bag check lines that extend about 2/3 of the way across the street instead of one big bank that goes from edge to edge). My advice...if you can figure out what part of the line is headed to the second bank of bag check lines, you should go that way because everyone else is going to be waiting in line for the first bank of bag checks. The second bank should have a wide avenue (say 1/4 of the width of the street) that leads you behind the first bank and puts you in line at the second bank. If they don't publicize this, no one will know the second bank is behind there, meaning the lines will be much shorter. Also, there is a plan to swap the order of tickets/bags to do ticket scanning first and then bag check (including express lines and ADA lines as usual at bag check) which, at a minimum should eliminate the "everyone hold your wristband in the air" quasi-security check at the bottom of the circles. Seems promising anyway.
Box office in the concrete arc of the circle instead of the green space adjacent to the circle may make things more crowded on Thursday and Friday in the area of Congress/Michigan. By Saturday, though, I imagine that'll be clear.
I believe the Perry's part of the map looks smaller to accommodate the advertising at the bottom of that page.

I can't totally picture this just yet, but it's helpful to note -- I am sure a ton of people will wind up queueing in that first bank until workers start actively flagging them over to the other one. Thanks for sharing.

I got a tweet from Lolla saying that 4-day GA is officially sold out at 6:30 p.m. I just checked and I could still get a 4-day on the shopping cart.

We're at the point where even if they say they're sold out and make four days unavailable, I won't believe them.

So they moved the remaining tickets to their secondary site and called it a sell out.

Unless I'm missing something, it seems the FYE tent isn't back this year. That's a bit disappointing. I usually try to find a lull in the schedule on whatever day and do a little vinyl shopping.

"The Frozie (or frozen selfie) is a one-of-a-kind frozen wine drink personalized with an edible selfie. Using innovative beverage printing technology, Lollapalooza memories can be printed and savored in whipped foam on top of two delicious flavors: Festival Frosé Frozie and Chi-Town Chiller Frozie, a refreshing Sauvignon Blanc based frozen drink inspired by Chicago."
lol...for anyone who's ever wanted to drink their own face off the top of a wine slushie
