Not to take away from the bears d because it was great, but McVay called the worst game in his career last night. Gurley not touching the ball is embarrassing

Who's alive in their fantasy playoffs?
I made it in all five of mine. Had high points for the year in my $20 work league, but lost in the quarterfinals last week. Also lost in the quarterfinals for my IDP only league. I'm a heavy underdog as the fourth seed in my three other leagues where I'm still alive (including the Lollapaloozer Veterans' league).

My league does just a semi-final, with each round lasting two weeks. I'm up 20 points after the first week, and Mahomes only did okay for my opponent, so I feel solid. Prize is about $120 and if I win, I'm buying a cheap George Kittle jersey for saving my season and being a hero to fantasy owners everywhere.

In the semifinal, Kelce had been dragging my team to victory but he was just ok yesterday.

CLEVELAND. BROWNS.
This has been the best Browns season I've experienced in my *checks notes* entire life. That Jabrill Peppers game clinching sack was fucking monstrous. Let's gooooooo!!!

Browns have been fun to watch this season, especially once a) Mayfield started playing, b) they got rid of Hyde and most of all c) they got rid of Hue.
I prioritized Kelce and Ertz in my drafts this year and in the one league where they went too early for me, I grabbed Kittle. He's easily in the Top 3 TEs next year.
Shockingly, I think the Bears can match up and have a shot at winning vs any of the playoff teams. If they have some luck (especially with avoiding injuries) and don't have to ask Trubisky to do too much, they might actually do well in January.

Cam Newton sits. First half of the season was so great. Bummer.

Cam Newton sits. First half of the season was so great. Bummer. Also a bummer for my fantasy team since I have Cam in a 2 QB league where every manager carries three QBs on their roster. Can't complain too much because I'm just playing to earn my $40 back in the third place contest this week, but my choices are Jeff Driskel or Taylor Heinecke. (Counterpoint: Driskel has actually been putting up more points than Cam the past few weeks...)

Josh Gordon is facing another suspension. I've been rooting for him to get through all of this, but I don't think he comes back from another suspension.

2nd place finish in the Lollaboard Veterans' League. 4th place finish in my big money work league. Still have a chance to finish third in my small money keeper league depending on tonight's results. But no championship this year.

Was an interesting year. I lost three of my starters to IR/waived. Rodgers was only so so for me. I picked up Ryan Fitzpatrick after that first great game and he rocked it for a few weeks. Went back to Rodgers, then finished out the year with Trubisky (I started Trubisky over Rodgers in the championship game LOL!) Heh Fitzpatrick stayed on my bench throughout the season, along with Larry Fitzgerald whom I didn't start once. Team name: Double Fitzed.

lol that's great.
Rodgers was not Rodgers this year (yesterday being an exception). Maybe he never fully recovered from that brutal hit in the first game. He also took a shitton of sacks (partly his own fault for holding onto the ball for too long). As a general rule I'm never willing to pay up for a QB and I certainly won't be Rodgers next year, but it will be interesting to see if this year was an anomaly. Seems like he should have another three or four good seasons left in the tank, but that's so hard to predict. I do think Brady is going to suck next year and I'm going to be bullish on Brees.
In my money league, I lost Kareem Hunt, Spencer Ware, Austin Ekeler and Lamar Miller in the final weeks, so I guess I was fortunate to at least make it to the playoffs and perform reasonably well.

guy at work is running a fantasy playoffs thing.. general gist is :
There are twelve (12) teams in the NFL playoffs. For this NFL Post Season Pool, you will set a lineup of twelve (12) positions that will remain throughout the playoffs. Each of the positions will be filled by a player (or team defense) from one of the playoff teams. You can select a player (or team defense) from each of the NFL playoff teams only once. Therefore, the lineup of twelve (12) positions will consist of exactly one player (or team defense) from each of the twelve (12) playoff teams.
gonna put together a roster tonight, but if you got some inputs i'm all ears.

That was real bad. I haven’t watched a single NFL game in like 3 years, but stuck it out at a brewpub. Kind of felt it coming, but I had a great beet salad.
