You guys holy shit I put board adjacent character TK up in my guest room when she was in town a couple of weeks ago. We discussed some board adjacent things while she was here. You’ll see where this is going in a minute. Earlier this week she told me she sent me a thank you gift for putting her up and it would be arriving today. I just got home super drunk and it’s a 3.4 quart air fryer. I don’t know how to process this information. One of the better episodes of Seinfeld I’ve seen in a minute, bravo |

No matter how much I clean this thing now it always smells like something is burning when I turn it on and unless I turn on my microwave fan and ceiling fan in the connecting living room the smoke alarm goes off, which is very obnoxious. No visible smoke or anything though.

Even I'm grossed out by that.
Recently I got an extra order of crab rangoon and the Kuma's jalapeno poppers just so I could take them home and freeze them, someday to be air-fried.

mrs ten15 made some awesome air fried zucchini sticks with a garlic ranch dipping sauce. The panko made them nice and crispy, but the zucchini was tender. Thumbs up

I made sweet potato fries in the air fryer yesterday. I also did a control group in the oven and those were crispier, but the air fryer ones were better overall I think.

Meanwhile, I have added a tiny bit of mayonnaise to a rice salad also involving smoked turkey, peas and few more goodies and it made it even yummier (at least in Sick2B's book)  The bf was grossed out tho (he has many qualities but sadly mayo-loving isn't one of them) |

Oooh, an air fryer thread.
I dry rubbed ribs like I was gonna smoke em and then I did them at 350 for 20ish min. The outside comes out exactly like crispy bacon and the insides are surprisingly tender since they didn't slow cook for 12 hours. Better than doing them in the oven, imo.
Shit's crazy.
