my coworker just bought one off FB marketplace yesterday for 15 bucks and has been raving about it already. I'm still choosing to trust Wirecutter telling me it's extraneous if I already have a convection oven.

I just made bagels in the air fryer with the 2-ingredient dough and they were unexpectedly successful.

Ok air fryer folks. Do you feel like it takes up too much space? Neader sent me a picture of some air fried hot chicken and it won me over.

I thought I would think so but I use it enough that it doesn't bother me how much space it takes up.
It's not a small amount of space for sure (and I have one of the smaller ones).

Hmm I only worry because I feel like I may be capitalizing on valuable prep space. I have plenty of pantry room though. Would it be something that sucks to move after using it? Does it stay hot for a while? Also will my cats get burned if they touch it?

Found an air fryer at bed bath and beyond for $12 on clearance.
Made some French fries in it and hooooly shit this is amazing. I’m a convert.
