Margo Price, Amanda Shires, and Brandi Carlile are supposedly forming a supergroup called “The Highwomen”. No official tour or album plans announced yet but I gues Shires mentioned it in an interview before she was supposed to.

Nick Zinner was playing with them on Colbert, which makes sense since he plays on a couple of the songs on the album.

I definitely remember both of these from the Metro show, so I'm glad they're finally out there

Harmony Hall is INCREDIBLE! I was pretty nervous about the direction of this album after such a long break (i.e. the last time a VW record dropped I was a junior in HS - drove to Best Buy(!) to by it on CD(!) - and then listened to it 12 times in the next 48 hours).
But that track has me back into that HS hype mode. It's so warm and inviting - with hints of their baroque leanings - but much more movable, without being too hokey. Fantastic track all around.

I like “Harmony Hall” a lot but it having those same lines as “Finger Back” is throwing me off a little
