Another perfect song. This is getting ridiculous. I am going to name my first born Adrianne. Who is the last artist to have such a prolific and excellent output in such a short time?

Was Cox all that prolific during that stretch? I was thinking at least 2-3 full length projects per year for like at least 2-3 years.

One last one for me because I love this topic... my favorite sudden burst of genius is Townes Van Zandt's 1969-1972 run: - Our Mother The Mountain
- Townes Van Zandt
- Delta Momma Blues
- High, Low, and In Between
- The Late Great Townes Van Zandt
Plus you can extend this to 1973 and include his scrapped album Seven Come Eleven which had a lot of what became Flying Shoes five years later. Unfortunately, the guy was too fucked up by that point to come close to that level of output again.

a lot of people are not getting the word "prolific" here big thief are not even as prolific as most of the acts listed here lol Tbf I'm talking about Adrianne Lenker specifically. Six albums and 2 EP's in six years with a bunch of other unreleased songs that she plays live, and pretty much everything is excellent.
