I had a coworker start a few years ago. When I was doing his onboarding, he was telling me about how much money he spent (hundreds of dollars) on great seats for an upcoming show in St. Charles, IL. It was very much Bret Michaels.

My Do312 More offer this month was for a show at the Bottle I considered, but decided to pass on. One of the backup offers is for Bret Michaels in Tinley Park though! I would do that show....do you know if it was seats? Or was it lawn? You should know that Culture Club is out there (that was my offer), but it's Lolla Thursday. When I rejected, they offered me two cover bands and the Ides of March if that helps anyone.

Bret Michaels played a Labor Day fest in Denver when we first moved out here and I'll never forget the row of abandoned baby strollers as their moms went apeshit near the stage.

I turned down my main show and got offered the Incubus show at Northerly this weekend as one of my backups. Gonna be out of town but tried to get it so that I could pass it along to someone here but it just took me straight to saying the tickets would be waiting under my name at the door.
At least it was a real show though.

better half hates tinley, but would have made an exception for culture club. I'd consider going to the q101 picnic but leave after paris jackson and giovanni, and skip garpo's fave, incubus.

I was offered the Q101 thing as my July (took it and going) and, incredibly, got what I assume is my August offer 3 days later.
And now, after declining the Culture Club offer and the ignoring the replacement offers, they sent me another package (without me asking for it) within a couple of hours. Clutch/Dino Jr./Red Fang. I'm considering it...
Amazed to see Do312 being so responsive...

That clutch/dinosaur Jr show was kinda an expensive ticket to the $18 Heineken place. I think riot fest has had that on discount a few times

I haven't received tickets in months but my card also hasn't been charged in months. It just keeps saying the account renewal date is one month way, resetting every month.

Last time I saw Clutch was 15 years ago; they put on a good show back then. Seem to remember the crowd being chock full of jagoffs.

Just what my wife wants to hear.
I looked on-line at the Tinley Park show on Saturday. Looks like they aren't selling any lawn seats for Bret Michaels, so I sent Do312 a request to swap the Clutch for those tickets. How bad can it be? (Don't answer that)

I claimed the Clutch/Dino Jr. show, even though might only go for Dino Jr. Red Fang is good, too, but not sure if I’ll be acid to get there in time.

(Don't answer that) I mean we didn’t get in a fight or anything. These memories are from their show at Otto’s in Dekalb. I think their show at Metro was fine. Side note: I made the original post in between sets at the Turnpike Troubadours show and minutes later the lights went down and their walk-on music was Clutch’s “Electric Worry” lulz.

I saw Clutch with Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and Wino at Otto's in 2009. It does stick out in my mind as being an odd show but I think it might be colored by the drive from/back to Chicago.

Good setlist (impossible to be anything but since it's the best American bands of the last 15 years) but do they not close with Long Drive Home anymore?

I have seen Clutch a few times in the recent past. Neil Failon is a solid front man and I always had a good time. Did not notice a high amount of jagoffery, fwiw.

Listen if you have an extra free ticket to the Clutch/Dinosaur Jr./Red Fang bill please remember your pal Tweet They gave me the Bret Michaels thing, so I had to decline the Clutch offer. But, anyone with a Do312 membership could request those tickets for you since we know they're out there...
