trapper kept: childish gambino, diplo, kacey musgraves, hurray for the riff raff, tame impala, solange, weezer, bassnectar, ty segall, smino, blood orange, pusha t, unknown mortal orchestra, iceage.
have missed calypso rose every time she plays washington park, but she and kid cudi are the only acts on the lineup I have even a tiny bit of interest in.
better half has seen bassnectar at the lincoln park zoo, weezer when they were in between pixies and digable planets at lolla, and pusha t when he was in clipse at pitchfork.

Not sure where the surprise at his booking is coming from. so to break it down for you, idris elba is primarily known as an actor. he's played many beloved characters on many tv shows and had acclaimed performances in film. up until this march, when netflix premieres its new series turn up charlie, idris elba was not popularly known to play any characters who dj. luckily, that will be changing just in time for this year's coachella music and arts festival. |

Can someone explain to me what/who Gucci Gang (Sunday, line 4) is? Is Pump skyping in from jail? Are they cutting out the hypeman routine from Lolla and just letting the track play on loop for 45-minutes? Is this some kind of soundcloud rap Superjam? Coachella has announced Every One, a new initiative to combat assault and harassment at the festival, as the Los Angeles Times reports. “We are pushing ourselves and our guests to do better and to be better,” the Every One section of the Coachella website reads. “We are taking deliberate steps to develop a festival culture that is safe and inclusive for everyone. Persons of any gender identity or expression, sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, age or ability are welcome at Coachella.”
It continues: “Coachella will NOT tolerate any form of assault or harassment, be it sexual, physical or verbal. Anyone found to be in violation of this policy is subject to immediate removal from the festival site and law enforcement may be notified.”
Coachella has also announced that “Trained Safety Ambassadors” will be on site to “facilitate access to care services for anyone in distress,” and that “Every One tents will be staffed with trained counselors for anyone that needs extra support or a quiet moment away.” There will also be all-gender restrooms on the festival grounds.
While the festival’s Code of Conduct does not address assault or harassment directly, it includes a point that bans “participating in any activity that humiliates anyone or insults their human dignity.”
Last year's Coachella featured reports of widespread sexual misconduct. At the time of last year’s festival, Coachella did not have any specific language on its website regarding sexual assault or harassment.
When reached by Pitchfork for comment, a Coachella representative shared a statement from Veline Mojarro, the festival's Equity, Safety and Inclusion Consultant. “Everyone from staff to festival-goer is imperative in co-creating a festival culture that not only keeps everyone safe, but respected and included,” Mojarro said. “We are excited to be partnering with professional service providers, local community members, and experts in the field of social equity and sexual harassment prevention to launch our Every One initiative. We believe in a festival culture that encourages active consent, inclusivity, and community responsibility.”

I didn't put em up until just now cause I'm a big dumbass.
However, I lose about $120 after fees if they sell on StubHub for what I listed them for, and it isn't even the cheapest option.
I threw a post up on facebook so we'll see what happens with that

Before the day was over, Tollett and his team at Goldenvoice were in talks with SB Projects' founder Scooter Braun to have his client Ariana Grande replace West on the lineup. Braun had terminated his professional relationship with West in early December, Billboard has learned, marking the second split in 2018 between the mega-manager and the rapper. Less than 24 hours after West pulled out, Grande was confirmed for the final night. Australian rock band Tame Impala was elevated to the top headliner slot in December to replace Justin Timberlake, who dropped off the lineup after his rescheduled tour dates due to bruised vocal cords conflicted with Coachella's radius clause.

JT picking to reschedule his dates on top of Coachella seems odd but i'm sure there's more to it (it does explain Tame Impala being an actual headliner because that looked kinda wonky)
and in Tollett's defense, having Grande on deck to usurp Kanye was a great and smart move considering the initial public reaction to Kanye playing
