I had to drive to a village pantry to pick up a 6-pack of Hopslam -- it definitely has more honey in it compared to the taste notes I jotted down last year.

Michigan friends (and any other friends)- anyone know anything about Perrin brewing? I've walked into a bottle of their No Rules and I don't know much about it, wondering if anyone is familiar with them Perrin's great. They do some cool experimentations with style, that No Rules is a Vietnamese Porter, right? Other standouts from them are their Malted Milk Ball porter, and Lil Griz, a bourbon aged session brown. |

I had it on Wednesday and enjoyed it, too. I like the more bitter version, but this was still quite good.

i had 2 full six packs of it last weekend and it didnt make it past friday when we had a few people over.
went down way too smoothly but was still as strong as usually, based on the headache saturday morning.

I guess Hopslam being available in Denver only happened last year - haven't seen it. Maybe it will still be on tap somewhere when I'm back later this month.

the marianos in lombard has a shitton of it.

I think Bell's realized that you can't half ass a distribution in Colorado. Everything sold out in less than a week last year, and I had heard they weren't willing to up the distribution.

the marianos in lombard has a shitton of it. market here clearly is a bit oversaturated this year Last year, the Binny's in Lakeview had a huge pyramid of Hopslam that touched the ceiling with a sign as soon as you walked in that said "We can assure you we have Hopslam." |

On Tour is wonderful. Not only are the beers good but they will let you laugh loudly while playing “what do you meme” without asking you to stop being annoying it is great
