Got tickets for a tasting and tour at Casey Brewing and Blending in Glenwood Springs. Glad I checked the website this morning since there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason for how they release these tickets.

Cracked open a bottle of Rye & Rum Barrel Aged Victory at Sea that I got from the Ballast Point taproom last year. Pretty damn perfect.

I went with a special-ish bottle tonight, too. Other Half's smoked stout Smoke Screens and Oil Slicks, but this batch was aged in Cognac barrels. Nice! Feels right for the occasion.

I saw the dry hopped 312 at Mariano's over the weekend and had a glass of it at their Clybourn taproom. I actually prefer this to the original 312, but I can see some folks not liking the bitterness in the dry hopped 312.

Stopped in at the (relatively) new Metropolitan tap room last night (Rockwell, between Belmont and Elston). It's really nice (and big). Was dark and the outside patio part does not seem to be finished yet, but it backs up on the river and it looked like there was a lot of outdoor space, so it should be very cool.

That sounds great. I forgot they were doing that.
We popped into Eris on Saturday to try and get dinner, but they were packed and we were on a bit of a schedule. The space is awesome and we did get to try a few small pours of their cider. Really excellent stuff. We're gonna try and get back there this week.
