This Sky set maybe the worst thing I've seen this year Enjoyed the songs I heard and got the fuck out of there when she announced the need to adjust levels for a “new” song about 25 minutes into an already abbreviated set in the 100 degree heat. |

It’s a whole lot of money. I’m really hoping that people end up selling their three days after two days but if worse comes to worse I’m just gonna pay that I guess. Really should have bought in earlier.

Today was pretty solid all around. Lotta low key stuff for how hot it was which has its plusses and minuses. Earl, Mavis and Rico Nasty were definitely the best sets of the day. Haim were fine while they performed I guess but the pacing, banter and covers portions were torture.
The pork sandwich from bamba roux was pretty disappointing but it helped me poop in the air conditioned toilets twice today and it was the other clear highlight.

All were new to me, except low, who I swear I have seen 3 previous times, although I can only find 2 times in a cursory check of the tk. and I skipped Mavis, because I had seen the entire staples singers group one yr at taste of chicago, and pops staples 3 additional times at bluesfest. |
