Watching William Ass last night put it in my head. Dude is in phenomenal shape at age 58, even with the roids.

Might be blasphemy but I think I like this version more than the original

I like both of their albums well enough, the second one didn't quite land on my list but I did review it earlier in the year and enjoy it for the most part. I think I would enjoy them live significantly more than I do on record.
Sports is a good track

Dipping back into Bo Diddley's hits and am continually impressed. "I'm just 22 and I don't mind dyin'" is such a hard line. You ever catch him live, nanatod?

at the chicago blues festival on 6/6/86, where he played w/ lafayette leake and billy boy arnold after sets from willie dixon's big three w/ baby doo caston and floyd mcdaniel, and otis rush with the professor [eddie lusk]'s blues revue.
and then at the riviera on 11/5/97 where he and ron wood were the headliners of a show opened by sugar blue.
and then sometime in the early 1990s when he played a club on the southwest side or evergreen park or it may have been riley's daughter in oak lawn. all I know is that I had never been to whatever club it was before then or since.
