I should add something to this wonderful post.
If I'm backed up, I ramp up my water intake 2-3x for a day or two. It tends to move things along.

PS I would also like a bidet.

A bidet is life changing.
Also I happen to know that two people who initially made fun of me about it have purchased one.

Yep, the bidet adaptor is awesome and took like 5 minutes to install. Highly recommend.
