That song is definitely her best this year which is impressive, considering how good the album was. I like the new single too. She's just great and incredibly talented.

Fun fact: Sondre's cover of that song was the first time I'd heard it. And it's in Norwegian. And I still haven't bothered to listen to the original song. And I love Ariana Grande. Just listened - Norwegian version is better. It should probably be our song of the year?

what is this fucking list. where is thank u, next. Somehow it only ended up on 1 list! My guess is it dropped a little too late to make it on more of them - but votes were spread all across her 2018 output pretty evenly. Seems lots of us agree she had a great year, but there is little consensus on what individual track was her best.
