I keep buying Blueberry and Lavender jam. The last time, mrs ten15 was all "No! We still have a full one in the refrigerator." I also have a thing for Sour Cherry preserves. You have yet to post something that doesn't convince me that you're my dad. Do you collect fountain pens? Do you have a PhD in Chemistry? Do you live in my house? I hate fountain pens. I have an MBA - concentration in Economics and Finance. I live in your house and am appalled at the state of your bedroom.

Careful ten15, you're like one post away from bosma asking you for back pay on allowance. lulz. Not until he fucking cleans that room.

The sad thing is that I may actually be older than thebosma's dad.

I think he's 53, so that can be your reference point. Also I'm getting my degree in Economics! So that's fun.

So, your dad was a Senior in High School when I was a Freshman. *sigh*

In high school or college? Either way that's fun. Good to know you aren't my actual dad. I've said a lot of weird shit on this board I wouldn't mention to him.

I am also glad we were able to solve that without getting Maury involved. This Board has standards to uphold.

I'm not thrilled I just handed out answers to like 4 possible security questions but it had to be done.

I really, really did not need to know about that. I already have a fancy jam problem! I keep buying Blueberry and Lavender jam. The last time, mrs ten15 was all "No! We still have a full one in the refrigerator." I also have a thing for Sour Cherry preserves. Sour cherry is the best. The place I get mine from has a tart cherry/apricot that's amazing.

I love fancy jams. I brought some really cool ones back from the Markthalle Neun in Berlin, like elderberry and lavender and other combos with elderberry.

Even though I don't plan on watching the game Sunday, it's a good excuse to make Super Bowl-related food. Trying my hand at making wings for the first time. I've got honey garlic and buffalo sauces already prepared. Also might try a taco dip that isn't just a boring layered creation.

Apparently all it takes for me to enjoy wings is for me to prepare them. NO BLUE CHEESE OR RANCH, BTW

And I got really lazy with the dip and just used Velveeta, salsa and chorizo. It was also good.

I feel like I've been eating Lebanese food for an entire week. Got a couple things from Semiramis on Kedzie and the portion sizes are enormous. It's like 3 actual meals per meal and it's dirt cheap, so looks like I found a new go-to.

Man I've never done Valentine's Day before and am trying really hard to not fuck this up please send help internet friends. I've got some places in mind but so much stuff is booked already.
In no particular order, looking at Reclaimed, Turquoise, The Bristol, Eden, and Farmhouse. Obviously open to other suggestions.

Step 1: drink full bottle of wine Step 2: make dinner at home Step 3 : serve dinner in said home
Do you know how to make risotto? It’s time to learn how to make a risotto. Do you have roommates? Bribe them with full bottles of wine to stay out of the apartment

I second Bosma's sentiments. Fuck going out on Valentine's day. Grab a nice bottle of wine and a couple ribeyes and call it a night.

Literally never worth it on the busiest night of the restaurant year and looking like you know what you’re doing in the kitchen is sexy as hell. Source: know what I’m doing in the kitchen, frequently appear sexy as hell
