And then you have to go home and put it together! I have never minded this and I don't understand people who think its really confusing. It's seriously like adult legos, grab a few beers and get goofy I LOVE building IKEA stuff. So satisfying. |

There's an IKEA in Red Hook not far from us, but I just realized we haven't been there for a couple of years. I think Wayfair has a lot to do with that.
We used to have a Costco membership, but it's just not practical when space is at a premium in a New York apartment. They had damn good meat including nice boneless short ribs at a reasonable price and steak tips which are not easy to find elsewhere. I don't think I ever tried the pizza and I wouldn't be against it, but there must be better places to get a slice.

i dont think there's a costco near me so i've never been -- but i have absolutely gotten drunk in many a whole foods and marianos and enjoyed their cafeteria food plenty so immassume it's the same thing and probably okay? edit: oh wow look at that there's explicility an option for that The food at Whole Foods and Mariano's are both a step up from what they're serving at Costco. |

I've tried Costco pizza, and can confirm it is not good pizza. However, I do believe that even when pizza is bad it's still pretty good.
With that said, if I was actively seeking out za for lunch, there would be about a billion places I would choose before landing on Costco.

The chicken bake is gross. Hot dogs are all beef so A+++
My favorite Costco thing is the shrimp salad. It's like a huge thing of it with massive shrimps for $12.

This is fair, I was originally going for the purpose of getting a chicken bake but then they slid a fresh pizza out of the oven and onto the heater and I immediately changed my mind. |
