The NFL is looking very bad in light of the tyreek hill audio that was released yesterday. They apparently didn't bother to ask him about the child abuse allegations. Yeah, aren't there like two other players under similar investigation? Goodell's response to it last night was digusting. He acted like he was inconvenienced to have to address it. He gotta go. |

being an oklahoma state guy, i was all for them kicking him off the team when he hit his pregnant girlfriend (now fiancee) in the stomach. it seemed like he'd turned a corner after probation and playing for the chiefs, but apparently not. i hope the chiefs cut him and the nfl bans him. he needs to fix his life.

The trend in the NFL is you won't get banned as long as you're still productive on the field, so I'd assume he won't get cut.

The Chiefs did release Kareem Hunt last year and then The Browns proceeed to sign him. I wouldn’t be surprised if they cut Hill.

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that Tyreek Hill has been barred indefinitely from all team activities until more is known about an audio recording that aired on a local TV station in which the star wide receiver's fiancée accused him of abusing their 3-year-old son.

If AZ could've figured out a way to keep Rosen on the roster for several weeks, that would've been a smooth move. There are always teams mid-season who lose their QB and end up desperate for a starter. The might have been able to get more for him, but it's a big "if" re: roster space.
Also, I find the Giants ongoing trainwreck to be irresistible.
And fuck Tyreek Hill if that shit is true.

Eh, not necessarily. They have a good looking team. Darnold was impressive when he came back from injury to finish the season last year. I think it's plausible they make the playoffs.

I know you old ass boarders have your own separate league, but for those of us younger posters, would anyone want to try putting a board fantasy league together? I'm thinking a small monetary buy in to keep folk engaged. I'd commish since I'm doing it in my other league (and about to start planning our draft which, Chirst)

We just had a vote in my big $ work league about whether to switch from CBS to Yahoo! and I think the morons in that league voted it down. Apparently most of them are fine with paying $150 year to CBS for the privilege of continued historical data. <eyeroll>

Broncos have to make a certain number of tickets available for half-price for each home game, and I'm trying for tickets to the game against the Bears in September. I was able to pull this off once the last time the Bears played here, so here's hoping.

Would anyone here be interested in joining a 10 to 12 team dynasty league we are forming? $100 buy-in, playing on Sleeper, and have a league Discord channel. I've been playing with these dudes for about 7 years now and the commish is the best I've played with, but we're transitioning to this and so a few people dropped out with the buy-in commitment so I'm trying to recruit right now. We also talked about lowering the buy-in if needed but I think the high buy-in is fun idk.
