I was going to ask if Tennis were the Greta Van Fleet of 2010 indie rock but I guess they had an album out in 2011 congrats on being around for so long without any caring to most of these bands

It was so empty on the North side for that run it was glorious I disagree. I couldn't even lift my arms at times due to the crush of people before and during Jane's. Were you upfront? I was center middle for Lou and it was breezy and open |

im admittedly giggling at Lou Reed vs Deerhunter and the meltdown that must've caused on the old board edit: i should point out that i was at snoop dogg I had seen Deerhunter before this, at pitchfork, and I had seen Lou both times he played a Farm Aid concert, but the better half and I picked Lou over Bradford that day, as she had never seen Lou in concert, even though she's a couple of yrs older than me (and I think she was with me when I saw Deerhunter in Union Park; she definitely was with me at the Deerhunter show where they played under the Kennedy Expressway's Ohio Street feeder ramp). Half way through Lou's set, the better half felt ill (probably because the temperature was a little hotter than usual), so I walked her to the gate, and saw her into a cab. Instead of going back to the rest of Lou's set, I caught the remainder of Deerhunter's set (which was the best of the 3 x I've seen them), and followed that w/ Silversun Pickups, before walking back to the north field to catch the last bit of BOH, Perry's helicopter, and the first part of Jane's, before chucking everything, and ending the day with Deadmaus. (devil's horn's emoji) |

Damn that crowd clearing out at the bandshell when Jane's took the stage only for BoH to continue with their set was a top Lolla memory for me.

Yeah - after their first song when Perry just started yelling, both bands still playing, the helicopter flying right over the crowd to light up the Jane's entrance... definitely a crazy Lolla memory. |
