Is that the first festival for NOFX since "the incident"? They were playing some other punk ones this spring I think. I've posted a couple a few pages back that i remember they were on

If either of the lineups were local I would consider going. Based on who they were able to book, Warped Tour should have moved to this format years ago.

I agree, but with the previous format I don’t think they could afford to book that lineup as a touring festival. Bands like The Offspring, Blink and 311 could make so much more money doing their own - package summer tours.

Brandi Carlile’s “Girls Just Wanna” festival in Mexico is happening again next year after their huge success this year. Genuinely considering trying to make it happen though I do wonder if the point is that dudes don’t go.

Would love to see the Dollyrots (not Trapper Kept) and see The Aquabats! and Fishbone again.
IRT Warped Tour.

Eddie Vedder, RHCP, and the Strokes are headlining Ohana Fest this year. I wonder if that makes the Strokes more likely for Riot than Lolla? Ohana is Sept 27-29.

it'd be nice if Missy playing SitW means she'll be more active this year but historically it seems like she only does 1 or 2 fests a year and that's it.
also yeah Pale Hose i think you're onto something with the Strokes being more likely for RF. seems overdue imo

also unsurprising but COA posted about buying tickets today without addressing Keith Flint at all so the comment section is...not a great way to start the day.

I’m gonna guess they had a scheduled Facebook post and didn’t think to stop the whole thing

I’m gonna guess they had a scheduled Facebook post and didn’t think to stop the whole thing oh im 100% sure that's what i was -- nothing malicious. BUT you'd think they'd be aware of the news by now and get ahead of it with a condolences or something. instead they let the ticket post go ahead and the comment section turned into some really fucked up jokes and "who's replacing them??" posts real quick :/

Country star Dierks Bentley and mega-promoter Live Nation are bringing their Seven Peaks Musical Festival back to Colorado with an even bigger lineup for year two.
The Aug. 30-Sept. 1 music-and-camping event outside Buena Vista, about two hours southwest of Denver, will feature performances from Bentley, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Jon Pardi, Mitchell Tenpenny, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Ryan Hurd, Steep Canyon Rangers, The War and Treaty, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack in its second installment.
The festival’s opening day will also feature Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence, Diamond Rio and Deana Carter as part of Seven Peaks’ “Hot Country Night” programming, Bentley told The Denver Post this week.sevenpeaksfestival.com/

Apparently Michael Lang is having some serious financial problems with this whole Woodstock 50 thing and I would bet on it not happening.

Love that DMB is playing a fest called Something in the Water. Too bad it's not taking place on the Chicago River.
