Fwiw Festive Owl tweeted that Jay-Z , The Black Keys Miley Cyrus and Hasley are also playing Woodstock. In addition to the all the other headliners mentioned. I can't begin to fathom how much money this thing will lose. |

i guess the next Psycho band is En Minor, which is a new wave project by Phil Anselmo that he modeled after Sisters of Mercy, early Cure albums, and some Bowie stuff
everything about that upsets me so im just gonna go hide in the pool for that set

Are we so dead inside that that lineup doesn't look awesome? Sure there's some clunkers on there, but it's so stacked that Sturgill is on the eighth(!) line. Ofc this is gonna cost something like $500 so it's off the table (if it even happens), but still...

That Woodstock lineup is actually a little bit nuts but I'd also be scared of it getting foreclosed on mid festival

That's a crazy lineup for 2019. They've got acts that would be headliners at most other fests on the 3rd & 4th line. I can't imagine how much that cost to book.
Also good for TBK for getting top line billing. It's now clear they took a 5 year hiatus to ensure headlining Woodstock 50.

That was my point - there are like 15 headliners (who had to all get paid upfront?)...but there is nothing but recent history of fests being a total disaster in that neck of the woods in upstate NY. Phish got rained out last year.... there was that Mysteryland USA attempt with LCD that was a catastrophe.
Counting on a high priced camping festival turnout in 2019 sounds like Fyrefest meets Waynestock, so I'm expecting this to be a trainwreck
