My philosophy is I can't complain about Gen-Z music unless I've actually given it an honest chance. So I listened to Renee Rapp yesterday since she's popping up on all these lineups. Didn't realize she was from Sex Lives of College Girls + is playing Regina in the new (terrible looking) Mean Girls musical movie. Unfortunately, her singles were like focus grouped Olivia Rodrigo knock-offs minus the interesting pop-punk angle. Snooze. Maybe today I'll see who Jessie Murph and Dominic Fike are, since they're everywhere now too. All I know is Dominic Fike was in Euphoria, and one scene he played a song on an acoustic in a scene that went on waaaaaayyy too long Update: Dominic Fike is just Rex Orange County with more face tattoos, more pop-rapping, less tunes, and hopefully fewer SA allegations. |

I almost missed the Rolling Stones ascending to heaven at the top of that lineup. Also, CRAZY HORSE!!! They need to please drop the rumored April tour dates so I know if/where I need to travel to. |

A new (I think) fest in Charlotte, NC, Lovin' Life, is rolling out their lineup today. So far Stevie Nicks, Post Malone, Noah Kahan, Dababy, Dashboard Confessional, Maggie Rogers, The Struts and David Kushner have been announced. May 3-5

$172 for a single day of Hinterland. Seems ridiculous for that line up. Idk if it’s worth a $200+ day when I’ve seen them 7 times.

Yeah my Dad has always talked about wanting to do NO Jazz Fest sometime. I might kick the tires on that this year. It is pretty different than a normal fest. It takes place mostly during the day, headliners play from 5-7. And basically every big font name plays in the headliner slots, so you'll only get to see 1 per day. During the day it'll be mostly local acts you'll see and you might get 1-2 national acts in from the smaller font names. But there's lots of after parties and stuff, after 7 you basically just go enjoy the city. And New Orleans is a very fun city |

That Noah Kahan dude's resale prices are going for $200+ in every market and $300+ in most markets playing sheds and arenas so they can probably get away with it
