I'm not sure if its the confusing price structure, all big act lineup or the fact that the pdf has no information on where, when or what the festival is or even what its name is but something is giving the vibe of 'not actually going to take place'

You need 5 of the same parking pass cards in order to lay down vehicles and tents of your color.

Kilby Block Party daily split looks pretty good. Not sure how it is usually scheduled but 100 Gecs -> LCD Soundsystem and Joanna Newsome->VW would both be great combos.

Just looked this up cuz I was curious. Last year all the top headliners ran unopposed, so those are both plausible. There's a few more acts per day this year (21 v. 24 on Sat, for example), which may change things up tho.

Redondo Beach isn’t really a suburb, it’s pretty much in the city limits
I was also interested in that Sunday but it’s Greek Easter aka the only holiday my wife cares about….

What do y'all do for Greek Easter?

What do y'all do for Greek Easter? It’s entirely based around food for us. Her uncle hosts in Schaumburg so we’ll need to be in Chicago that weekend. He roasts a whole lamb and then everyone else brings dishes. My wife and I are usually in charge of pastichio and spanakopita. Used to make dolmades too but I started refusing to help with them, way too much of a pain in the ass to make. We go there at like noon and just eat all day until late. A lot of her family goes to midnight mass but we skip that part. My parents and sister usually come too, we’re only half but they still accept us in the madness.

That Kilby fest is literally down the street from the airport and I guess I wonder how that's gonna sound. Maybe I'm just trying to justify shit to myself since Coachella kinda bombed

Yeah I can’t imagine being close to the airport really ruining the experience.

5% alcohol being the maximum they can sell at the festival would be a much bigger deal than it being close to an airport for me lol.

Just Like Heaven fest looks like they will be announcing their lineup soon Edit: Death Cab is reposting it, so safe to assume they are playing this fest too According to Inforoo, the lineup leaked on the app this past week (or at least part of it). Death Cab repost kind of double confirms Postal Service, Death Cab, Phoenix, War on Drugs, Two Door Cinema Club, Passion Pit, Tegan and Sara, Phantogram
