I can't wrap my head around Post Malone's billing at Voodoo. I keep looking at the lineup and just shaking my head at that.

i feel like Brand New is too high but i also always think that when they're on a lineup and should probably stop criticizing them for milking the same album for 8 years when i'm turning around and seeing Tool thursday.

I'll report back on FLOATGOAT
Full headliners are Benjamin Booker, Zola Jesus, Esme Patterson, Red Fang
Not bad for $35! They'll announce another national act to play a free show on Wednesday before the full fest, too.

assuming you mean saturday lol but yeah we're v v v seriously considering just a 1 day and staying with a friend for free if flights become cheap later on
not worried about it selling out as the entire reaction facebook has been "who the fuck is run the jewels or gojira or mastodon. shit lineup! more five finger death punch!"

AVB music knowledge > AB's music knowledge. Only ever heard of Einsturzende. based on what i know of your tastes and the acts on the lineup that i know, i dont even know what i'd recommend trying lol maybe moor mother. or maybe GAS? 90s electronic for u, but it's ambient stuff with a steady beat.

I saw that TVOTR had 9/15 as a date for Riot Fest, but I wasn't sure if that was a placeholder. Looks like that might be the case now.

Doesn't Do312 already have a contest for every fest out there (including Mamby)? I feel like that's the existential purpose of the site.
I entered anyway tho

The festival contests this week are in addition to the existing contests they have running.
