Tom's questioning was incredible

Man there were parts in the scene where Shiv was handling things with the woman where her facial features and expressions looked EXACTLY like Brian Cox and I loved it.

Sarah Snook is one of the better actors on the show I think. That was a great episode.

Blood sacrifice is Kendall, right? Logan kind of threw him under the bus during the questioning and even said shareholders won't like how he acted.

I'll spoiler my thoughts but based on the way that conversation with Shiv was going/how he handled testifying, I'm guessing it's Tom. Shiv seems to know this and have no desire to protect him.

Also I didn't catch up on last weeks episode until yesterday and I can't believe none of you warned me that I was going to cringe myself to death during Kendall's rap lmao

I think Tom is too obvious as a blood sacrifice. I think it will involve Roman and this trip somehow

Just watched the most recent Succession, that was an intense hour of television.
Bosma's guess seems to be the most obvious choice, but they also alluded to Logan in the trailer for next week's episode. The fact that the others are all legitimate possibilities and I can't tell if this show is going to throw us a curveball or not just reinforces what good television this is.

I agree w/ Rango that Tom's too obvious. I think it will be Kendall - his storyline this season has to be headed toward something, and it would really set things up for s3.

The only ones I can't see being thrown under the bus (re Succession) is Shiv or Roman. Shiv obviously wasn't (and isn't) in the company. Roman seems very distant to this whole thing, and he had nothing to do with the cruise division.
My guess is Tom but that seems too easy. I'd rather Kendall because it would end this particular arc of him being alienated from the family. Only thing is we've kinda already seen how he goes outside the family and he is not particularly successful, so I don't know what s3 would make of that.
Logan could of course fall on his sword to protect his family, but he has spent this entire show putting the company ahead of his family, so I don't see that happening.

I've been rewatching Boardwalk Empire. Season 2 is still pretty damn close to perfect.

interesting theory floating around that Logan planned this out. Knew the shareholders wanted him out but couldn't publically step down, don't know why tho. This is definitely worse press and for the business, maybe so Kendall would be the clear successor? Idk. Interesting to think about.

Interesting to think about. based on his expression at the end, I would say that's more than a theory I took it as more of proud of you for proving me wrong and becoming the type of person you need to then a all according to plan but who knows. I kinda hope not since it negates what would be a great story next season.

based on his expression at the end, I would say that's more than a theory I thought the expression was more because Kendall was finally "a killer" like he had said in their meetings before. Could be and I think it's what they want us to think, but after Kendall's performance in the hearings, I get the feeling that Logan knew what he was doing and was anticipating that Ken would do that and was motivating him with the speech about needing to be a killer. Why offer that advice to someone who you're sending to the slaughter?

Succession continuation I think that Logan figured that he was pretty much the only choice to be sacrificed, and was probably super disappointed that no one had the gall to say he should be the one killed when he brought it up. Hence the smirk when he was proud of Kendall for doing it. I don't feel like it's something he's necessarily going to be happy with, and something he might even fight next season when his ego gets the best of him, but he can't help but be proud.
