The National played all of The Boxer to close out their European tour in Brussels. damn that rules I wouldn't be opposed to them doing that at one the shows here

I'd prefer seeing High Violet or Trouble will Find Me. This is likely due to the 10th year anniversary and it being the album that made them big.
But still cool

not from what i saw on the twitter thing last night but she still sounded great.
i'll probably prefer the glamorous rock show style of the last tour but im still pretty excited to see her with this new stuff
day for night will probably be an abbreviated setlist though.

Yeah I'm still going to try to see her at the Chicago Theatre even if I go to Day For Night. I want a full set.

I wish every band would play two sets.
Also this Chicago Theatre show is probably going to be one of those awkward ones where the crowd doesn't know whether to stand or sit right?

Pretty sure everyone sat when I saw her there last time.

Sans Leon Bridges, I've never had that experience there. (But it was annoying as fuck to have to stand for an entire Leon Bridges show to be able to see)

Hoping for something similar on Saturday but I'm guessing they'll have to cut about a third of that out for time constraints.

Time constraints? Should we not be expecting a full set or does the Aragon have a reputation for early shows? Out-of-towner visiting for the show, so am curious...
We got Avon in Toronto, so Regular John would be nice. I would like to hear Headache too.

Aragon has a pretty loose curfew and Run the Jewels don't play for over an hour anyway so it basically just depends on how much Q101 paid them

Is there not a hard all ages curfew anymore? Also Biffy Clyro is playing too.

Is there not a hard all ages curfew anymore? Also Biffy Clyro is playing too. it's 11 pm on a saturday but its not really enforced at venues this large in my experience. even still expect something like this... Billy Clyfro 7:00-7:45 RTJ 8:10-9:10 QOTSA: 9:30-11:15

I was thinking more like 7:30-8, 8:30-9:15, 9:45-11. An hour and a half for Queens would be great, though.

To be fair, I don't think more than one or two of those songs cracks 4 minutes long but regardless it should be a pretty loaded set. Very ok with that. Loving that she's pulling a lot from her earlier albums, and is doing In California, which is one of my favorite songs she does.

I'd like to see Neko again, but I don't think anything will top the show I saw at the Pageant in 2010 touring for Middle Cyclone.
(also, the setlist needs 'Prison Girls')

Prison Girls, Dirty Knife, and Set Out Running would be awesome additions but overall, if she's sticking with the same setlist each night, that's looking pretty great to me.

(also, the setlist needs 'Prison Girls') I just peeked at that setlist because I'm putting off something actually important but holy shit that is a great setlist. Closing with Train from Kansas City is fucking great too.
