Never listened to a regular Tom T. Hall album, but his greatest hits is ridiculously good. That's How I Got To Memphis and Homecoming are all-timers.

Steven Hyden just posted this ranking of his 100 Best R.E.M. songs - a pretty unique list, IMO, with the top five being So Central Rain, Nightswimming, These Days, Sweetness Follows, and Driver 8. So where do y'all stand? 1. Find The River 2. So. Central Rain 3. Try Not To Breathe 4. Stumble 5. Shaking Through HM: Sweetness Follows, Superman, Talk About The Passion

Finest Worksong is always number 1.
I've become re-obsessed with Losing My Religion after watching the Song Exploder episode about the song.
And the rest:
Leave Try Not To Breathe Perfect Circle
