Went through the Indiewire list to see the movies I missed - it's a lot! I've only seen 15 of the top 30 and somehow still haven't seen Moonlight. I don't think I'm qualified to make a list. If you’ve seen movies in the last 9 years you’re totally qualified to make a list.

does anyone have a 2019 movie in their top 10? i can't see anything from this year even in my top 30 so far If we're counting Under the Silver Lake as 2019, that one could be top 20 for me.

Was thinking about studio comedies that will make my list. I have to at least consider the jump street movies.

That Indiewire list definitely got the wrong Leviathan... or at least should have featured another one (too)

This is great and I genuinely can't believe that people didn't like it. Gets better on every re-watch imo.

Recent watches
Burning was great. May make my list.
Spring Breakers was a horrible pile of garbage and reaffirms my hate for Harmony Korine.

I have a list of random 2010s films on Netflix/Amazon/Criterion to watch/rewatch as well as other various 2010s films that aren’t on those to search out. I could copy paste it if you want

Recent watches Burning was great. May make my list. Spring Breakers was a horrible pile of garbage and reaffirms my hate for Harmony Korine. Of the films that he directed, only watched Gummo and Trash Humpers, and I'd say, these left me fairly indifferent. Kids (which he co-authored), however, is one movie that I watched when I was 17 or 18 and that I don't think I'll ever forget (not saying that it is a grea movie, just that I doubt I'll ever forget it)...

Just want to say Anchorman 2 got so much unnecessary hate, it was excellent. Except the blind in the lighthouse scene.

All of mine have probably been mentioned but I’ll second Four Lions. I also think Mistress America deserves a spot. It’s not as good as Frances Ha but it is still extremely good and also more of a comedy.
