Is lord Huron playing Madison square garden this go round No NYC date yet, they're headlining multiple nights at Red Rocks though. Last time they were here they sold out the Chicago Theater and their popularity has only grown since.

Oh? Is it like a new version of the band? Are all 3 still around? Same exact band, they just dropped the Dixie part in the name because of racial connotations They should probably put it in tiny font next to the name so people know who it is

Lord Huron are a fascinating band who gets like zero press coverage / critical acclaim, but has a massive and growing fan base. Apparently they had a song blow up because it was in the show "13 Reasons Why" so they are now popular Said song has almost a billion Spotify streams which is actually incredibly impressive

I know J Cole sells well but I have a hard time imagining them not getting top billing if they were still "The Dixie Chicks."

I can't imagine they're very big among whatever demographic this is meant to cater to.

Well they should've figured out what demographic they're catering to before booking the lineup in my opinion

Yeah that's pretty wild. Bigger acts than they used to have Thursday nights

I really really wish this lineup was just slightly better. I have a weird urge to want to do it again, specially if I'm not doing Primavera, but this line-up is a tough sell. Like replace J Cole with a headliner I care about and have maybe just one or two more must see acts and I might do it (honestly Turnpike is a great add for me in this regard). And they also announced the late nights and no Billy Strings on that which is a bummer too.

In the fall of 2019, the better half and I went to a promotional show Tenille Townes did on the second floor of an arlington heights restaurant / pub for the now gone (second) country station, and ended up on the elevator with her and her management beforehand (we didn't know what she looked like in person before the show).
Cauthen is basically a schmuck.

Is it because the song's not called "Country as Fvck"?

Apparently Air2Earth is Porter Robinson?? geez this really is impressive Can you tell me what the fuck this turnpike is? This board barely voted Turnstile into AOTY Turnpike Troubadors are an Oklahoma country rock band who write fun well written easy listening songs, they have some crossover appeal between alt country fans and pop country fans. They very abruptly broke up/went on indefinite hiatus in early 2019, like mid tour, cancelling a bunch of dates, speculated that the singer was dealing with sobriety issues. But he's apparently doing much better now and towards the end of last year they announced they were back together and announced a Red Rocks show. Apparently that break built up some demand or maybe they just got bigger over those two years, idk, but they sold out Red Rocks instantly and secondary market prices went insane. And so they added a second Red Rocks show and same thing. Both these shows are still well over $200 on the secondary market (both in May) They've been adding shows in Texas and Oklahoma since and same thing, all selling out instantly with huge secondary market prices. That being said, they've been booked on a lot of fests since which makes me think seeing them won't be too hard outside of like Texas and Oklahoma. But like, if Bonnaroo was in Texas, they could easily be fourth or so on their day, which is why I think it's wild they got booked just for the campground. I hope that's a good summary. I personally would like to see them when they in Houston in May, but when I hopped into the ticket sale I was number 13,500 in line and it's a 3000 person venue so that wasn't happening.

They are adding a 24/7 running free tram that has a few stops around the campgrounds and drops off at Centeroo. Very nice upgrade
