It makes no sense for Lolla to get an act that's selling out stadiums in EU and will be selling out arenas in US? Ya, they're not about selling tickets at all. Lolla or Riot both make sense and no one would bat an eye if they played Lolla If you don't already see how Riot Fest is clearly a better fit for MCR I don't think there's going to be anything I can say to convince you otherwise. We can leave this one be. No worries, I'm not heated. Just discussing

MCR at Riot Fest makes so much more sense. MCR at the fireside bowl makes the most sense, but it's not 2001 anymore, except in my brain.

I think we said it before, but Billie is playing London up til July 30th. Yes, I know planes, but I think we can put her in the extremely unlikely category

Very much looking forward to a north field 1975 dance party. Hopefully the scheduling works in my favor.

some iteration the gets us 4 days of rage, kdot, lizzo, and 1975 would actually probably get us to pay for weekend passes tbh

New board darling Georgia will not be at Lolla, she's playing a fest in England that same weekend.

Who are some potential pre headliners that are realistic? Run The Jewels? Brockhampton? Hopefully not Lewis Capaldi

All of the names you just mentioned sound realistic. It sounds like Rex Orange County will probably sub as well.

I feel like Capaldi screams lake shore stage in between sub and headliner but I'm probably underestimating him.

I still have not heard this Capaldi guy's song and have no clue who he is otherwise

I would see Miley no matter what position she was in as long as she's not up against Rage or Kendrick (assuming they're both there)

Not sure if that would matter, though.

I personally feel like Miley and Bon Iver are too big to sub but I've been wrong many times. I think Leon Bridges is big enough to sub

I feel like Capaldi screams lake shore stage in between sub and headliner but I'm probably underestimating him. Supposedly Capaldi wasn’t suppose to be #2 at Osheaga, so he might not sub at Lolla.

Bon Iver’s tour schedule makes him pretty unlikely.

Man no Rage and no MCR kind of sucks not gonna lie. I saw Foo Fighters at the Metro show and don't really have a desire to see them again, and Pearl Jam would be fine I'm sure. I saw Lizzo at one of the Aragon shows too and unless she has new music I'd skip her for the 1975 for sure. Maybe I'll just volunteer for a free ticket

Of course Lolla didn't book Rage. Seems strange that the only shows Run the Jewels don't open for Rage are the Canada and Chicago shows.
