Pumpkins were rumored for Riot Fest, I couldn't see Lolla booking them in 2020 regardless.

I couldn't see Lolla booking them in 2020 regardless. given the state of things right now, i don't know if we can really eliminate any booking for any festival come Q3-4 of 2020. i think any festival will take what they can get if all the spring and early summer festivals end up moving to the fall.

Loallapalooza is considering an initial push to late September before cancelling 2020 altogether.

Can't say I'm surprised by this development but I'm still sad all the same

They just social media'd that they will make their decision at the end of May

They just social media'd that they will make their decision at the end of May If somehow the fest actually could happen as scheduled ( it won’t) only having two months to sell tickets seems challenging.

If they are actually considering having the fest as scheduled only having two months to sell tickets is probably low on the list of challenges they're going to face.

Loallapalooza is considering an initial push to late September before cancelling 2020 altogether. Original July/August dates off the table all together? Would make sense given all the uncertainty, but curious if that's still a fringe possibility.

Don't live in Chicago/IL anymore, so nope. I was assuming the answer is "no chance in hell", but the original post didn't explicitly say the OG dates are out, nor did the tweet -- so I wanted to clarify. Also, selfishly, I have a hotel hold on my credit card I'd love to be free of.

You know what’s worse than Lollapalooza? Lollapalooza two months after you’re allowed to leave your home because standing within 6 feet of someone might kill you.

Has anybody been to the Lolla website? It looks very different, but not in a good way. More in a "not going to happen" way IMO.

Very stark. I love that they have the e-list sign-up on the front page 3 times.

I guess that's the look Live Nation is going with right now. Look at ACL, Shaky Knees, etc.

Voodoo Fest still looks normal. But it doesn't take place until 10-30.

Feels kind of like the battle is over here for now. Even with the curve flat it sounds like no one is going to endorse concerts or crowds. Which wasn't the case when this started but here we are. Seems like sports without crowds falls under the "healing our country" banner, but concerts just have no political upside.

I’m really worried about non LN- AEG venues. Most of them will not survive with 12 months of no concerts

...am i looking at the same sites as everyone else? They seem pretty... standard? Lolla one is definitely different. Usually there's like, animations and shit and the lineup tabs are bigger. What it's a sign of I couldn't tell you/care about right now
