It's still funny to me that The Weeknd supposedly dropped off this bill because he thought he was bigger than Chance in Chicago in 2017. Any other year, maybe... but not on the back of that record. History says this is true but somehow the weeknd got even bigger after this which is more surprising tbh |

Just Like Heaven is the greatest song in the history of the world, period this might sound a little goofy, but I liked tori amos' cover of lovesong when she played the chicago theater in 2011 better than the cure's performance of same at lollapalooza. |

I wasn't at Lolla in 2017, but like...as a headlining set, this was kind of middling, right? Chance's issue as a headliner is he has a lot of down tempo tracks that make it hard to sustain the crowd energy. My memory of this one is that it started hot, leveled out for a while, then closed pretty strong. |

As much as I would like to have seen the XX at some point in time I can’t imagine another instance I would have enjoyed a chance set as much of this (maybe coloring day). That being said I’m not putting it among the best headlining sets I’ve seen |
