As I go deaf, I pose this question.
In the office, my headphones never go above the 1/5th mark. On CTA/other transit, 1/2 to top 3 sounds right but I'm trying to knock that down.
Just curious how deaf we all are

My computer volume is currently 12 out of 100, so I'm going to assume that is not very loud.

My computer volume is currently 12 out of 100, so I'm going to assume that is not very loud. Yeah, I think I'm at 13 usually in the office. I usually don't listen on the train, but I do have to crank them up fairly high when I use them on a plane. Even with the noise reduction on, still probably close to 50% volume. |

I have broken every pair of noise reduction/cancelling headphones I've had within 6 months of getting them.
I've had the same $25 earbuds from Target I bought 2 years ago that sound great

My iPhone volume is at 12 notches with headphones in. 4 notches without headphones.

Usually around 1/4 to 1/3 at work on my phone - but then slightly over 1/2 on the MTA? Trying to be conscientious of this since I'm most definitely going to have shit hearing in 25-30 years.

While at work/home, I have my headphones at like 1/4. On the train, usually like 2/3 to 3/4.

I get to experience the joy/prison of not using public transit so my volume is pretty reasonable but it’s also artist dependent. I try to not be shitty to my ears so I bought some nice speakers for at home listening to limit the amount of time I have headphones clamped to my ears.
