Man, now you guys have me reminiscing about the olden days, like the time Pearl Jam came to Kansas for VS and tickets were $18.50 with a $1.00 service fee. I knew some people who were pissed off at having to wait all night, so they got out of line a few hours before the tickets were on sale despite the fact that they were close enough to have definitely scored tickets. They were definitely sorry later.

I feel like everyone had a different YLT album on theirs so a bit surprised Eletro is on there this high I held myself to one per artist on my list, and I think choosing among Electro, Painful and I Can Hear the Heart... was the toughest call. All on roughly equal footing for me. Blue Line Swinger might have tipped it. |

The first time I heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" I was completely blown away. It was the clear signal that the 80's were finally over. (And I liked the 80's). i get that nirvana were different and everything but what bands can we look at and say wow if it wasn't for nirvana they wouldn't be successful? because i think of like 50 bands, that are still around and relevant today, for the strokes Bands that Nirvana influenced today mostly suck.

Wow thanks everyone especially chvrchbarrel for all the work in researching and putting this together. It's been fun.
As my parting thoughts I leave you all with this: if OK Computer isn't #1, you're all trying too hard. If it is #1 you're all very basic.
Ok let's see how this thing ends;
