I drank a bunch of Budweisers and finished a first draft of something and my neighbors keep lighting fireworks off and have been sitting on my porch with a view of the skyline throughout all of it so I guess you can say things are going pretty well

I think 10 episodes is the sweet spot for this series.
I love how the origin stories of Chimney and Hen are just basically the story of a dickbag captain. I want to see the origin story of that captain now.
I just got through Jennifer Love Hewitt killing someone, so that was something.

I'm at my in-laws, on about drinl 5 or 6 for the day, and they are watching a fireworks show on nbc instead of going down the road to watch some. Happy 4th of july.

i have never been to louisville. also met up with my kickball team for the first time last night and we went around and said ages and i told them 25 until friday and then it turned into one girl kinda planning a get together friday night to celebrate but that just consisted of asking if everyone was free and her saying we'd have to do something and idk if that's going to pan out or not so might cancel my asheville airbnb and go back some other time. i would have said something but she just started asking people before i had a chance and i'd rather go out anyway. This did end up panning out and was a very good time. Nice to move here and in a little over a month have a group to do shit with for my bday. Charlotte was...not like that. Also spent last night playing D&D for the first time with a teammate and his friends which was fun and nothing like I expected. All in all a good birthday weekend. Spent today cooking/doing Sunday meal prep for an amount that will probably be two weeks for like 5 hours after having a Skype hangout with some old friends and am now drinking to relax and unwind after all that nonstop cooking. |

The bad: the $12 voucher is only for the buffet at this hotel, no alcohol or menu items and this hotel is like a $30 Uber to anywhere decent
The good: Uber eats as a very reputable poutine place on there that I just ordered from and I get tomorrow off so ayyy
