Triple digit heat index in NYC yesterday, today and tomorrow. Can’t wait to host 20 people for Mrs. Doso’s birthday on a roof deck tomorrow evening. 😬

Damn this storm just snapped our youngest tree in half, along with all of the others that were planted a few years ago. This sucks

100mph winds in Boulder/Louisville area are moving a giant wildfire across an interstate right now. Yay end of the world.
The city where my wife works has been evacuated. This is easily the closest something like this has come to Denver.

Like, we're supposed to have had 20.5 inches of snow at this point of the year and we've had less than half an inch. No rain, either. We're in the middle of an extreme drought and I've never seen this area this parched.
Mountains are thankfully getting snow, but that doesn't benefit us until next summer.

To give you an idea where Louisville is, if you're going down 36 on the way to Boulder it's the town just before you enter city limits. Really beautiful spot and I've run several road races around that area. Just insane that this is happening right now.

500+ homes destroyed. Sounds like it may have been human-caused as opposed to from a downed power line. Colorado has had a terrible fucking week.

my sister hosted several friends who live in evacuation areas and the pictures from her deck were wild.

Good on your sister. We offered our place to friends in that area but thankfully they were just outside the evacuation zone.
Also wild that while this was happening there was a blizzard warning an hour away.

It has been a huge patio bar day for me over the last five hours and I’m fucking loving it. Will I make it to the hideout sxsw sendoff? Time will tell.
