Of course today and tomorrow are the only days I have to go to the office for the next few weeks.
I walked from the Lake red line stop to my office on Clinton and it was a mistake. Pretty much just had to make a mad dash to run between spots of shade so I wouldn't melt.

Resealed my asphalt driveway this morning. Made advantageous use of an early start and a tree line on the East side providing shade to get it done without passing out.

My stepson is a sophomore at University at Buffalo and he was supposed to take the Amtrak home on Saturday for Thanksgiving break. We just speculatively purchased a new one-way ticket for the Amtrak departing at 1pm tomorrow with the hopes that they a) cancel his 3pm exam before b) the forecasted three to six feet of lake effect snow begins to fall tomorrow night.

We're not getting a blizzard but we're going to have a hard freeze and it will be below freezing most likely for more than 24 hours which is more than enough to knock out the power like it did last time so that's exciting right before christmas
at least it might send ted cruz to cancun though

It's supposed to be -15 here on Thursday and Friday. Temp's going to drop from 50 to -2 on Wednesday, so that should be fun!

Our Friday flight got cancelled, so we slid the whole trip forward a few days and are leaving Monday now....bit of a bummer, but not much you can do about shitty weather
