rose city band is great. guy from wooden shjips. great laid back psych rock. This is absolutely terrific Top 10 on my AOTY list so far - just a perfect summer evening album Would also recommend that Ezra Feinberg record. Beautiful instrumental guitar music. |

He autographed a record for me at Lolla 2011. He was so kind, too: there were a lot of people at the signing booth to see him and when his allotted time ran out, he walked down the line and gave autographs to everyone still waiting.

Anybody talk about this new track from Bartees Strange yet? He had an interesting interview with Stereogum the other day, seems to be getting some buzz - and his two singles so far are awesome. Also has an EP of The National covers that I'm listening to now.

Preordered it yesterday and the first pressing is already sold out and they added a second pressing, so I guess there's some buzz. |
