Okay, so I didn't order it today but last Friday. I'm tired of having a gigantic phone, and the Pixel 6 Pro only comes in a gigantic size. I hope I still don't completely hate iOS. I can deal with it on my iPad, but I'm not sure about dealing with it on a phone.  |

Which one did you get? My GF ordered a 13 mini and I'm pretty bitter that it will have a better camera than my 12 pro.

13 Pro in Sierra Blue. 256gb. It's costing me less than $13/month for 24 months with trade in of my Pixel 4 XL. The promos this year are really good, which is a reason why I went for it.
It's gonna be nice to have a good battery on a phone that isn't gigantic.

Feels weird to say but not sure it is my place to reveal his pricing? But I probably shouldn’t have said it was a stupid amount. The guy does awesome work, definitely don’t want to de-value his output. I just feel stupid spending more money in general recently. But I’m glad I bought it, he only released five. Most of his stuff is commissioned and/or one-offs.

Nice! I have had my eye on the CX too, it's pretty much the one I hear recommended most of the time. My brother in law just got the 77 inch one and it's absolutely absurd. I think I'm going to wait until I upgrade my Xbox before I take the plunge though. Yeah I'm excited to see how it runs with the PS5 and is one of the main reasons I bought it. How is this thing going for you? I never bought a CX but I'm ready to get a 65" C1 with the Black Friday prices, I really need to make the 4K jump. |

I have the 55" LG C1 and it's an incredible OLED TV. It has the eARC passthrough for Atmos soundbars and HDMI 2.1 ports which supports Dolby Vision and 120Hz refresh rate. Pretty much the perfect gaming TV for the price.

Weighing in late on the LG OLED's. I have two. The big one has TERRIBLE network throughput.
I can be running 100+Mbps on my Google Mesh with a mesh node right next to the TV, and the throughput tops out at 14-15Mbps.
Run an ethernet cable from the mesh to the TV and the throughput drops to a whopping 2Mbps. The ethernet hardware in the TV is the old style 10/100 ethernet, so everyone says to just run wifi. I'd kill to even see the stupid thing top out at the old style limitation of 100Mbps.
Had them come out and swap the connectivity hardware. Zero gain.
The second LG OLED is fine, so fuck if I know what's causing the problem, but I cannot reliably stream 4K on the big LG (when I must have 4K, I download it and put in a USB stick), and for the cost of the LG....I would never go that route again.
Sorry to be a downer, but you'll find this problem all over the internet on the LG's. Hope you don't experience what I'm dealing with.

My only issue is my HDMI cable sucks ass and isn't a special 4k one so my screen will need to refresh and go black for three seconds like every five minutes. They go through the wall so changing it out would be a big thing.

This TV came today and it seems a little bigger than I was anticipating even though I pretty much measured out the space. Kind of worried about these mounting guys telling me it's not going to fit on my mantel tomorrow, in which case it will truly be the stupidist of the stupid stuff I've bought. Might have to return it for the 55 inch.
