we're under 200 this year b/c of the baby, and everyone should be buying him gifts and diapers so that we can stay non-stop chained to his development like slaves.
normally it'd be in the 300-400 range tho.

In past years the aforementioned SHARON insisted on getting presents for all of the adults (eight in total) so we all felt obligated to reciprocate though the rest of us prefer a less consumerist holiday. Finally this year SHARON (not her real name) seems to be mostly overruled as we are limiting things to one consumable gift per adult. I am getting each of my parents a book and have a few little things for my boyfriend, though he is a self-described Bad Gift Giver so we are thinking of buying a piece of art together instead. I might get him one of these dope chargers tho.  |

Okay, so I totally spent way more than I had planned to spend. I just started shopping and was in a giving mood.
BTW, anyone play Villainous or Ticket to Ride? They look good, so I got them as presents.

ticket to ride is a hoot. highly recommend
haven't played villainous yet but i think we're gonna get it for my family to play this week so we'll see

I did most of my shopping in Mexico City this year. So I probably won't hit $500 (for the first time in a long long while) but I still haven't shopped for the girlfriend yet... ...maybe I should log off and get on that Just kidding. Put me down for $500+ |
