I will say this, whenever the next time Lollapalooza happens, I guarantee it happens with Post Malone's name somewhere on the poster

Why did you call me a "troll"? Because you've trolled on this board and the previous one for the better part of a decade, if not longer.

Apparently Tom Delonge confirmed on an Insta chat that Angels and Airwaves were supposed to play this year.

Nothing will be "he back to normal" until (at least) 2022 (at the earliest).
Totally LMAO at anybody who thinks that Summer 2021 won't be a Total Dud.

I was watching CNN earlier, and they were saying that a best case scenario for a widely distributed safe vaccine would be Late-June to Mid-July. And, do you actually think that if "normalcy" didn't return until next Summer that people are going to be comfortable with pits at Lolla? The search for a Safe Vaccine is already turning into a ckusterfokk.

OK, I'm working this out. The south field of Grant Park is about 500 feet wide by 1000 feet long. They could put a row of 20 of those 20x20 Platinum cabanas right in front of the stage, sell them in lots of 20 tickets per $80,000 cabana. Put another two rows slightly elevated and staggered behind that row, 10 cabanas each, lots of 20 tickets for $55,000. That's your VIP section. Regular tickets are 10x10 cabanas along the long sides of the field, let's say three rows of 50 each side. Each cabana holds say six people, sell them for $7500 each. Three rows of 40 across the back, $10,000 each for "premium sightlines". Duplicate the same setup on the other end and you can soak 4000 suckers for ten million dollars, call it an exclusive VIP music experience, and keep yourself afloat for next year.
edit: Wait no, multiply all the prices by ten, sell tickets exclusively to Muffy and Biff von Bucksworth or whatever, call it a "benefit show for Chicago live music"

sleeping, your lolla plan isn't going to fly w/ lightfoot, because she'd be criticized for letting a couple (even 4000) of rich folks take over an entire public park for 4 days. you could find a majority of the aldermen to vote against it if she didn't take the initiative.

Everyone should spend $1000 on a VR headset and have Lolla do a virtual festival.

Everyone should spend $1000 on a VR headset and have Lolla do a virtual festival. Lolla sucks enough without a phone strapped to your face.
