I don't think I actually saw any of you guys this year in person unless I'm forgetting a good time, but I have had a great year on this board and appreciate the support you've given me at various times, the laughs you've given me various other times, and helping me stay up to date on tour dates and fest rumors that i still eat up like crazy even though i don't go to near as many fests. would have gotten to board party at Massive Attack if it hadnt gotten postponed, though I ended up really sick that day so I guess it worked out. And also apologies to Tweet that I wasn't in Houston each time you came, sorry that timing always ended up bad. anyways you guys are great heres to 2020. maybe ill go to pitchfork or riot fest or something |

Going through those old posts reminded me what a great boarder facts is/was. Sadly, it looks like he has left us. If we had an in memoriam segment like an awards show for boarders we lost in 2019 I would vote for his avi to be last. In the words of Ben Kenobi - "Oh he's not dead. Not yet." Most of 2019 was hectic with life, work, family health challenges and youth travel sports - albeit not always in that order. But i'll still be around from time to time. That said in 2020 I'm looking forward to: 1) Gerrit Cole pitching the NYY to a world championship 2) A less divisive government 3) New albums from Gojira, Deftones, Mastodon, and Meshuggah and accompanying tours that will allow me to see them without having to go to one of those energy drink buttrock festivals 4) Season 2 of the Mandalorian 5) Next year being better than the last Godspeed all |

To be fair, meeting me probably wasn't a good time. I thought you met him at Fun Fun Fun Fest? I did but I also met up with him at one of the MMJ shows at Red Rocks this year. Which apparently wasn't very memorable. :/ |

I knew I was forgetting something. It was definitely a good time and I enjoyed seeing you for sure! Definitely not intentional to forget that, that whole MMJ night is just kind of a blur because I had five too many drinks I was thinking about how I hadn't been to any fests this year and my only time in Chicago I didn't see anyone. Red Rocks weekend didn't click with me. I feel bad now, sorry  |
